March 2010: SGAMOAA chapter members lead a group of Pacific Theater WW II Veterans into the WW II Memorial for the premier of HBO's "The Pacific".

September, 2010: South Georgia Chapter members attend MOAA's Presidents' Symposium in Jacksonville, FL.

September 2010: SGAMOAA sponsors the 10th hole at the 1st annual "That Others May Live Foundation" golf tournament. The tournament raised over $8,000 in scholarship funds for children of fallen Search and Rescue heroes.

South Georgia MOAA Chapter celebrates the US Marine Corps' 235 birthday in November, 2010.
